When in L.A.

I was recently in LA for a International Karate Championship. It’s by far my favorite tournament for many reasons but this year held a surprise. Having an affinity for all things “traditional Japanese” – simplicity, efficiency, discipline, etc., I was thrilled to meet an actor and accomplished martial artist who starred in Tom Cruise’s The Last Samurai.

His name is Shin Koyamada and he was gracious enough to share a photo with me! Read his story here. What an inspiration.

Comment Rules:

Remember what Fonzie was like? Cool. That's how we're gonna be -- cool. Critical is fine, but if you're rude or preachy, we'll delete your stuff. Please do not put your URL in the comment text and please use your PERSONAL name or initials and not your business name, as the latter comes off like spam. Have fun and thanks for adding to the conversation! (Thanks to Tim Ferris & Brian Oberkirch for the inspiration)
